Five Oaks Stingrays

Swimming with the Five Oaks Swim Team is a great way to spend part of the summer at the pool making new friends, catching up with old friends, and learning to swim!

All children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews of Five Oaks Recreational Association members are welcome on the team. We take swimmers as young as 4 if they are able to "swim" from one end of the pool to the other, and we take swimmers up to age 18 (all ages relevant to June 1st). Our 2025 season begins in mid-May through the Durham Summer Swim League Championships on July 6th and End of Season Banquet on July 12th.

Our coaches, nearly all current or former swim team members, provide a fun and encouraging atmosphere in which the swimmers learn and develop stroke technique and good sportsmanship.
